Ways to Give
Your gift will benefit our students for years to come and will be an excellent way to support the important work going on in our classrooms.
If you are a Patron
- Write a check today.
- Ask your employer to match your gift.
- Make a monthly or quarterly pledge /gift.
- Choose the Foundation in your Workplace Giving Campaign.
If you are a USD 305 employee
If you are a USD 305 employee, you can contribute to the SEF through payroll deduction. It is the simplest way to remember to support the SEF, and we have made it easy for you. Here’s how:
Email Kate Lindsay at kate.lindsay@usd305.com and state how much you would like to donate. Donations can begin at any time and any amount is appreciated. If you’ve never given before, we suggest $3.05 per month. Teacher and staff donations are especially important because they honor the work that we do for you. Thank you for your support!
Think about the Future
- Donate appreciated stock, securities, or real estate and avoid taxes while receiving a tax deduction.
- Write the Salina Education Foundation into your will or planned bequest.
- Make the Salina Education Foundation a beneficiary of an insurance policy.
Honor Others
- Honor a special person, teacher or student by giving a gift in their name.
- Honor your own education by giving a gift in honor of your graduating class.
- Celebrate a birthday, wedding, holiday, or any special occasion
Fund a Classroom Need
Every year the Salina Education Foundation gets many more requests than we are able to fund, and so we turn to our friends for help.
You can help if:
- You understand the importance of early childhood education.
- You know that reading is an absolutely essential life skill.
- You remember how much easier that math class would have been with some manipulatives to provide concrete examples of concepts.
- You appreciate the need for creative, innovative projects which motivate and inspire both student and teacher.
- You want the best possible education for our community’s most important asset–our students.
Here’s how: Call Kate Lindsay, Executive Director (785) 309-4729 and indicate the interest you have in funding reading, math, special needs, etc. You will be advised of all funding needs in April after applications have been received. A packet will be prepared for you to choose those projects you wish to fund, where you can indicate the projects you want to support and send your tax-deductible donation to the SEF.
Be a Friend
- Tell a friend about the Foundation and encourage others to get involved!
- Volunteer your time or other goods and services.
