This year, we have an online application process. If you have any problems or questions, please get in touch with Kate Lindsay - [email protected], (785) 309-4729.
Include all shipping and handling charges as part of your request.
The foundation will fund software. When requesting software, include the software approval form required by USD 305’s Executive Director for School Improvement.
The USD 305 Request to Apply for Grant form is not required when applying for any SEF Grant. If you are making dual applications to another funding source to help fund a larger project, you must fill out the USD 305 form before seeking additional grant funding.
A trustee will call all grant applicants before the Allocations Committee’s meeting—your opportunity to explain your request.
Collaboration among teachers is encouraged.
In making decisions, the Committee looks at the number of students involved, the creativity and innovation of the request, and the direct benefit to students.
Materials provided with SEF grant monies travel within the district with the teacher making the request. A teacher leaving the district may NOT take grant items to a new district.
Building administrators must approve the project.
The SEF cannot promise ongoing funding. Funding depends on the number of grant requests and available funds.
The foundation will not fund hardware, furniture, or salaries.
Project-based grants will have priority.
Questions and comments are encouraged. Call Kate Lindsay, Executive Director, at 309-4729 or email questions to: [email protected]
