Our Mission
To encourage educational excellence by providing resources to enhance opportunities for the students and staff of Salina’s public schools.
As part of this mission, the trustees of the Foundation:
- Manage two endowments
- Receive gifts which benefit specific schools and programs
- Administer scholarships
- Annually award grants to teachers seeking to improve instruction in their classrooms
- Identify and support outstanding Saline County residents who wish to become teachers (LIFT Program)
